	<title>Low Carb Food</title>
	<description>
Low Carb Foods Are More Readily Available Now than Ever
The truth is that there are no standards as to what, exactly can be deemed a low carb food.

You had to hear it. Food producers have officially jumped onto the low carb band wagon. As soon as they saw that more and more people were taking a diet of solely low carb food seriously, they started marketing their versions of low carb diet foods immediately. Now you can find almost any food you desire in its newer low carb food package. But what does that really mean?

So, you might not have to worry as much about looking at every single label if you are on a low carbohydrate diet. But even if you have narrowed down your choices to the products labeled only as low carbohydrate foods, you will still have to make sure that the amount of carbohydrates in it are acceptable to you and your specific diet.

A variety of diets and low carb food
As we all know and have heard, the whole idea of eating only low carb food became very popular with the legendary Atkins diet. So popular, in fact, that you can even see the Atkins symbol endorsing many of the low carb foods that you see in the grocery stores and in restaurants which made low carb diets that much easier. Yes they make it look so darn easy. It has become thee symbol to look for when you're watching your carb intake.

But it is not the only diet that advocates eating only low carb food. There many others that have since popped up or where even around before just lacking the vast marketing. Some of the others go by these names:

  The High Protein Diet
  The Stillman Diet
  The Scarsdale Diet
  The Hollywood Diet
  The Ketogenic Diet
  The Zone Diet

They can go by any other name, but the idea is still the same--a quick and only temporarily effective means by which to lose a few pounds of weight. For those who are serious carb counters, items marked as low in carb food can be helpful, but since there is really no definition of what low carbs are, one has to be careful about hidden carbs.

Eating low carb diet food and cooking low carb food can enhance your diet. Try some low carb recipes today.
